A Never-ending Supply of Original Art for Your Business
About the Community Exhibits Program
The Columbia Art League’s Community Exhibits Program began in 1959 to provide artwork to other non-profit organizations in the community. The program has now expanded to include all types of public and private business locations. Several excellent local artists exhibit their artwork at businesses throughout the community. Artists rotate their work every three months among the participating businesses.
A Local Business Tradition
Businesses throughout the community enjoy providing a beautiful, ever- changing work environment for employees and customers while supporting the local arts. Participating businesses enjoy a variety of art available through the Community Exhibits Program by contributing a quarterly, tax-deductible donation to the Columbia Art League (as low as $80). The names of participating business will be mentioned weekly in the Columbia Daily Tribune and on our website at with a link to the participating businesses website. To participate, interested businesses with secure, well-lit, non-smoking public areas should contact the Columbia Art League at 573-443- 2131 for more information.
About the Artists
Artwork by locally known, local artists is chosen for inclusion in the Community Exhibition Program. These artists have all been juried into exhibitions at the Columbia Art League. Styles range from abstract expressionism to surrealism to photographic expressionism. Mediums include watercolor, oil, acrylic, fiber, pencil, pen and ink, photography and mixed media. Artists handle all insurance, hanging, sales and dismantling of the exhibits. For insurance reasons, the artist, or his or her representative, are the only people permitted to move the work.
Support the Arts
The Columbia Art League is a 501c(3) non-profit agency, and as such, welcomes tax-deductible contributions.
